“Christmastime” (A Poem on the “fly”)

December 18, 2009

Christmastime is here,

That special time of year,

When children sing,

And sleighbells ring,

And Santa Claus is near.

And hopefully this year,

For those whose need is dear,

They’ll kneel and pray,

For on Christmas day,

Our savior did appear.

Thank you. I will indeed take you up on that offer. To be honest, I consider myself a poet first (as a writer), hence my usual tag line of “Poet / Wizard / Teller-of-tales”. I tend to be a crazy, dark, celtic poet at times, but it’s all good.
