“Time” – Fibonacci Sequence Poem

May 17, 2010

Time

Time
Speeds
Quickly
To remove
Traces of the past
Before we form our vain regrets
And lose ourselves in the sorrow of the moments gone;
Never quite forgetting, nor exactly remembering just what went on before Time.

    I like this

    Before we form our vain regrets
    And lose ourselves in the sorrow of the moments gone;

    Vain regrets. So true. I love these Fibonacci Sequence Poems. Maybe I’ll write on next.

    Good job, Tim.

    Did you post this at the other site? I didn’t see it.

      Thanks, Jodi. This was my first Fibonacci poem, so I’m really glad you liked it.

      Vain regrets…amen, sister.

      You should write one. They’re fun.

      Hmm..it is the most recent post on UDPS. I actually posted it there first. You should be able to see it.

    I love the challenge of the Fibonacci poem! Great idea! and great writing. And the Dead Poet’s Society is one of my favorite films… “Oh Captain My Captain!”

      I am glad you like it. DPS is one of my favorite movies as well. I came up with the idea of the UDPS since I am alive (and therefore undead).
