Perfect Poet Award Acceptance and Thank You
I had the honor to once again receive the Perfect Poet Award from Jingle at the Promising Poets’ Parking Lot. Thank you, Ji!
To fulfill the requirements of this honor, I am pre-emptively posting a poem for Week 25 of the Thursday Poets’ Rally, and would like to nominate Signed…..bkm as a Perfect Poet for Week 25.
A Poetical Whimsy
In poetry, doth elegance,
and stately language enamour,
the hearts and souls of all who pine,
for want of faerie glamour.A glistening and dewy gaze,
amongst the bracken hidden,
awakening a feral cry,
a lust which comes unbidden. But ‘ware, all ye who think these dreams,
when s’truth, all is not quite as it seems,
or else ye find yourself alone,
before the dark one on his throne. So heed ye well, these words I say,
an you may be blessed to see the day,
a time when love is light again,
and peace and joy is all ye ken.A time when words are used for love,
and hearts and minds rise up above.
Rhyme on!

Thanks, Ji. I tend to write most of my poetry rather quickly (with few to no edits), hence the reason I usually will term it “flash” poetry. I wanted to be sure to get this out there since you are so awesome about the Rally and all you do.
beautiful writing and a well deserved award!
Thank you.

sometimes, when people ignore the call, i consider them inactive or wanted to be alone,
thus i may remove the links..
Ji,
What did I ignore? I posted my Perfect Poet Award acceptance, my nomination for the next week’s Perfect Poet, and my entry for the next week’s Rally, I am going to vote for the “Celebrate the Poets of June,” and I visited the five people you mentioned. Did I miss something else? If so, sorry, and please tell me what.
Thx,
Tim
